Can I attend if I'm a complete beginner?

Absolutely ✨

Flowstate welcomes dancers of all levels, including complete beginners.

Our popular Zero to Hero programme is specifically designed to help you start dancing West Coast Swing or Brazilian Zouk in just one weekend. You’ll learn the fundamentals, meet other beginners and join a supportive community from day one!

Do I need a partner to attend?

Not at all.

Most attendees come on their own or with friends, and partner rotation is encouraged during classes.

Whether you’re travelling solo or with a group, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to meet new people and dance throughout the weekend 🩵💜

Can I switch between WCS and Zouk classes?

If you have a Full Access Pass, yes!

You’ll be free to enjoy workshops, socials and activities across both dance styles throughout the weekend.

Is Flowstate suitable if I only dance one style?

Definitely.

Many attendees come primarily for either West Coast Swing or Brazilian Zouk.

That’s why we offer dedicated WCS Only and Zouk Only passes, while still giving you the option to discover something new if you’d like.

Are the J&J competitions open to everyone?

Yes.

Flowstate hosts official WSDC Jack & Jill competitions for West Coast Swing and the UK’s only official BZDC Jack & Jill competition for Brazilian Zouk.

Competition divisions are available for different levels, including Newcomer, Novice and Intermediate.

Please be aware Zero to Hero dancers are only eligible for Newcomer divisions.

The venue is located just minutes from Heathrow Airport, making it one of the most accessible dance events in the UK. Whether you’re travelling from London, elsewhere in the UK or internationally, getting to Flowstate couldn’t be simpler.

Yes ✨

We’ve secured special discounted rates starting from just £89 per room per night, including breakfast. That’s only £44.50 per person when sharing a twin or double room.
